SAP BW Getting Professional Enterprise Data Warehousing

This training will focus on how data are organized in SAP BW. A query results in a report and this information comes from a so-called InfoProvider which is a collection of InfoObjects (Characteristics or Key Figures). In this training you will learn how to create and change these InfoObjects and InfoProviders (like InfoCubes and DataStore Objects). You will also learn how to setup the dataflow that will extract data from source systems and that will load data into Data Targets. Furthermore you will learn more about compressing InfoCubes, creating aggregates and available Business Content.

Objectives
After attending this training module, the participant will have the knowledge and skills to use the Data Warehousing Workbench to create a basic Enterprise Data Warehouse. The participant will also have a basic understanding of the dataflow to extract data from source systems and load it into the BW data targets.

• Load data from other systems than SAP with the help of flat file loading

• Creation of DataStore Objects (DSO)
• Load and Activation of data in DataStore Objects (DSO)
• High level overview of MultiProviders and InfoSets
• High level overview of Virtual Providers and Real-time data acquisition
