SAP BW Getting Professional Delta BW 7.0 Integrated Planning

This training will provide you with knowledge and expertise on the Integrated Planning functionality in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BW7.0), compared to the previous versions of BW3.x (Business Planning and Simulation). SAP Netweaver 2004s BI (BW7.0) will provide a foundation for reporting and analytics in business applications, extend the reach towards masses of end-users, integrate planning into user interfaces and services and push forward its role as strategic data warehouse platform.

Objectives After attending this training module, the participant will have the basic knowledge and skills to use and customize the new Integrated Planning features in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BW7.0), compared to the previous version BW3.x (Business Planning and Simulation). The new functionality in BW7.0 regarding Enterprise Data Warehousing and reporting tools is NOT part of this delta training. This functionality is covered in separate delta BW7.0 training modules. SAP BW Getting Professional Delta BW7.0 Enterprise Data Warehousing (SAPGPBWD70E) SAP BW Getting Professional Delta BW7.0 Enterprise Reporting (SAPGPBWD70R) Prerequisites The participant should have attended the training modules: SAP Getting Acquainted Business Information Warehouse (in version 3.x) SAP Module Training Getting Professional Business Planning and Simulation (in version 3.x) Or otherwise be familiar with the Planning features of SAP BW version 3.x. Content The new BW7.0 features of following subjects/modules are part of this training module: Overview of the new BI Integrated Planning; Planning Model Design (InfoProviders, Aggregation levels, Filters, ..); Planning Functions; BEx Query Designer: setting up ready for input planning queries; Embedding planning queries and functions in Workbooks; BEx Web Application Designer: creating Web applications for planning; Implementation options and feature comparison. The training module is available in version 7.0 in English
