Objectives After attending this training module, the participant will have the basic knowledge and skills to use and customize the new Enterprise Data Warehousing features in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BW7.0), compared to the previous version BW3.x. The new functionality in BW7.0 regarding reporting tools and Integrated Planning is NOT part of this delta training. This functionality is covered in separate delta BW7.0 training modules. SAP BW Getting Professional Delta BW7.0 Enterprise Reporting (SAPGPBWD70R) SAP BW Getting Professional Delta BW7.0 Integrated Planning (SAPGPBWD70P) Prerequisites The participant should have attended the training modules: SAP Getting Acquainted Business Information Warehouse (in version 3.x) SAP Module Training Getting Professional Business Information Warehouse (in version 3.x) Or otherwise be familiar with the Data Warehouse features of SAP BW version 3.x. Content The new BW7.0 features of following subjects/modules are part of this training module: Introduction to Enterprise Data Warehousing; Data Warehousing Workbench; DataStore Objects; Extended functions of InfoSets; Remodeling toolbox; Business Content Analyzer & Content Browser; Data Acquisition with BI DataSources; Transformation and translating units of measure; New Data Flow concept; Extended functions of Process Chains; Direct Access and Real Time Data Acquisition; BI Accelerator; Enhanced Performance Improvements; Administrator Cockpit and BI Statistics.
