Objectives After attending this training module, the participant will have the knowledge and skills to use the advanced options in the area of Enterprise Reporting in SAP Business Warehousing. Besides a good understanding of the several BEx reporting tools, the participant will also learn how to create a report to report interface (RRI) and how the BEx tools are integrated with a Portal. Prerequisites The participant should have attended the training module: SAP BW Getting Acquainted Business Warehousingor otherwise be familiar with the topics covered by this training. Content The following subjects/modules are part of this training module: Advanced use of the BEx Query Designer by using restricted and calculated key figures, exception aggregation, structures and the cell editor for defining exception cells Create and use hierarchies Create and use different type of variables Advanced use of the BEx Broadcaster to broadcast Exceptions, creating Alerts and schedule broadcast with predefined time points Portal Integration Document Integration Report to Report Interface (RRI) Designing Workbooks with the BEx Analyzer Advanced use of the BEx Web Application Designer to enhance web items, customize the context menu, structure the layout of web templates, incorporate charts with the Chart designer and include commands with the Command Wizard Advanced use of the BEx Report Designer with topics like sections, conditional formatting, report style and formatting Manage Query Objects (deletion, copy and translation) The training module is available in version 7.0 in English.
