SAP BW Getting Professional Integrated Planning

This training will provide you with knowledge and expertise on the Integrated Planning functionality in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BW7.0). You will learn how to create planning applications with the help of the Planning Modeler and the Planning Wizard. You will also learn how to create planning functions that are used to automate your planning process and how to use the standard reporting tools for creating planning applications.

Objectives After attending this training module, the participant will have the basic knowledge and skills to customize the Integrated Planning functionality in the SAP Business Warehouse with the help of the Planning Wizard and the Planning Modeler. The participant will also learn to create an end-user planning application with the help of the BEx reporting tools. Prerequisites The participant should have attended the following training modules: SAP BW Getting Acquainted Business Warehousing SAP BW Getting Professional Enterprise Data Warehousingor otherwise be familiar with the topics covered by these trainings. Content The following subjects/modules are part of this training module: General Concepts and Challenges in planning Integration of Integrated Planning with real time InfoProviders and Queries Use the Planning Modeler and Planning Wizard to create a planning model (aggregation levels, filters and variables) Creation and use of Planning Functions from simple to complex (including FOX formulas) Planning Sequence and Tracing Use the BEx Query Designer to create a Plan (Input ready) queries Use the BEx Analyzer and BEx Web Application Designer to create planning applications Locking & Data Slices Use of MultiProviders in planning Characteristic Relationships and Hierarchies Key Figure planning model versus Account planning model The training module is available in version 7.0 in English.
