SAP ECC Getting Acquainted Financial Accounting

When you are working for the bookkeeping department you have to perform different financial tasks in the SAP system. This training gives you an overview of these financial transactions from a user point of view. You learn about the incoming and outgoing payments based on the procurement and sales process. You look at the general ledger and how accounting is structured in the SAP system. By performing exercises you get familiar with all these aspects.

Objectives After the training module the participant will be able to perform basic Accounting functions on the user side within the SAP ECC system in the business solution SAP Financials. It gives the participant a global overview of the financial business processes and the integration with the logistic business processes. The training module is based on performing hands-on exercises. The training module provides a foundation for the ’Getting Professional Accounting’ training modules. Prerequisites The participant should have attended the SAP ECC Getting Started training module and have a basic knowledge of financial business processes. Content The following subjects are part of this training module: Organizational structures of accounting and logistics General ledger accounting Master data, accounting documents Account balances and line items, entry facilities Purchasing process Master data, purchase order Goods receipt, incoming invoice, reports Outgoing payments Open item analysis Payment program Sales process Master data, sales order Delivery, billing Incoming payments Account analysis Dunning, incoming payments Asset accounting Cash management Cash position, liquidity forecast, memo records Manual bank statement processing Cash journal Closing and periodic reporting The training module is concluded by a test.
