SAP ECC Getting Professional CO Product Cost Planning

When a product is produced there are several elements that comprise the total cost price of that product. This training module will learn you how you can make cost elements relevant for product costing and what elements are relevant in the total cost price calculation of a product. Also you will make a costing run and you can make reports within PCP.

Objectives After this training module on the getting professional level the participant will be able to perform the main functions of the business application ’Product Cost Planning’ within the SAP ECC system in the business solution SAP Financials. Furthermore will the participant be able to decide about customizing issues and to customize the most important functions. Prerequisites The participant should have attended the SAP ECC Getting Acquainted Logistics or the SAP ECC Getting Acquainted Controlling training module. Content The following subjects are part of this training module: Introduction to logistics master data (BOM, Work center, Routing) Introduction to production order processing and costing Cost estimates with quantity structure Basic functions and reports within Product Cost Planning Costing relevancy of master data in logistics and in controlling Customizing of costing variants, the cost component structure and related subjects Overhead cost calculation Additive costs Cost estimates without quantity structure Easy cost planning Reference and simulation costing (unit costing) Costing run and transfer of costing results The training module covers the way Product Cost Planning is organized in SAP ECC. Product Cost Planning is part of both the Production Planning (PP) and Controlling (CO) modules of SAP ECC. The training module shows in detail the functionality of Product Cost Planning on the user side, as well as how to customize the system to be able to support Product Cost Planning with and without quantity structure (material costing), as well as reference as simulation costing (unit costing). The training module is concluded by a test. The training module is available in: SAP ECC (version 6.0) in English
