Objectives After this training module on the getting professional level the participant will be able to perform general logistic functions within the business solution SAP Supply Chain Management. Furthermore, will the participant be able to make customizing decisions and to customize the most important general functions within SAP Supply Chain Management. Prerequisites The participant should have a general understanding of the integrated aspects of a package like SAP ECC. The participant should have attended the SAP ECC Getting Started and the SAP ECC Getting Acquainted Logistics training modules. Content The following subjects are part of this training module: Enterprise structure This subject covers the organizational entities that are relevant to the Logistics modules of SAP ECC, such as plant, storage location, purchasing organization and sales organization. Material master This subject covers the kind of information that is stored per material and the way in which this is customized. The underlying table structure is also discussed in this training module. Business partners This subject covers the kind of information that is stored for vendors and customers and the way in which this is customized. General Features This subject covers general features in the maintenance of master data, such as copying with reference, blocking and deleting. The definition of units of measure and the definition of search helps is also discussed in this training module. The training module is concluded with a test.
