SAP ECC Getting Professional MM Warehouse Management

Before the booking of the goods receipt of certain products in a warehouse can be made, a complete structure for the warehouse within SAP needs to be set up. This training module covers the different elements of warehouse management and after the complete set up has been made up you book a receipt and check how the system will determine where to store the goods.

Objectives After this training module on the getting professional level the participant will be able to set up a warehouse structure and customize the system in order to support a basic goods receipt. The Warehouse Management functions are part of the business solution SAP Supply Chain Management. Prerequisites The participant should have attended the SAP ECC Getting Started, the SAP ECC Getting Acquainted Logistics and the SAP ECC Getting Professional Logistics General training modules. Content The following subjects are part of this training module: Organizational entities for Warehouse Management such as Warehouse, Storage Type and Storage Bin Integration of Inventory Management and Warehouse Management Movement types for Warehouse Management and the Inventory Management system Movement type characteristics Number ranges for Warehouse Management Quants Goods receipt for purchase order Transfer requirements Storage bin search Transfer orders The training module is concluded by a test. The training module is available in SAP ECC (version 6.0) in English.
