SAP NetWeaver ABAP Programming Reports

Programming new reports is explained in this very extensive training module. Starting with the basics from the SAP programming language ABAP you will create reports using Logical Databases, SQL, internal tables, function modules, external files and the SAP grid control. You will create interactive reports and look at BAPI’s. In short all aspects necessary to create reports will be trained.

Objectives The participant will gain knowledge of, and will be trained in, the: Principles of programming using the 4th generation language ABAP Use and manipulation of data using ABAP Use of the ABAP environment Retrieval of information by means of the ABAP language Usage of the ABAP tools Prerequisites The participant should have knowledge of a 3rd or 4th generation programming language and of the training modules SAP ECC Getting Started, SAP NetWeaver Engineering Introduction and SAP NetWeaver ABAP Data Dictionary. Content The following subjects are part of this training module: ABAP development workbench Set-up, structure and concepts used when programming in ABAP Creation, modification and documentation of programs Using the ABAP environment to find out information on: ABAP statements Available logical databases and their structure Master data files and their records Programs Program documentation Function modules ABAP programming including Event processing Interactive reporting SAP SQL retrieval Dynamic SQL Refining data Performance aspects Problem solving using the debugger Internal tables and sequential files Extract dataset ALV grid The training module is available in SAP NetWeaver (version 2004s) in English.
