SAP NetWeaver Getting Professional Enterprise Portal Administration

The SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal offers a single point of access to SAP and non-SAP information sources, enterprise applications, information repositories, databases and services in and outside your organization, all integrated into a web-based frontend. This training module is aimed at System Administrators who are interested in the technical side of the SAP NetWeaver Portal. You will gain the important skills needed to operate and configure an SAP NetWeaver Portal. The training covers the subjects of Integrating Enterprise Applications, Identity Management, Monitoring operation, backup strategy and Customization of the Portal.

Objectives After attending this training module, the participant will know how to customize the portal and how to set up and configure the portal for different scenarios. Prerequisites The participant should have attended the SAP NetWeaver - Awareness Overview and the SAP Getting Acquainted Enterprise Portal or otherwise be familiar with their content. Knowledge on the following is recommended: SAP Web AS Java Administration, Operating Systems, databases and networks. Basic knowledge of Java technolgies and administration. Basic knowledge of web technologies like HTTP, HTML, XML etcetera.
