International Communication

During this four year bachelor programme we will prepare you for a(n international) career in communication. It is a longstanding international programme which provides you with a chance to study communication in an intercultural context and from an international perspective.You will study among students of many nationalities. About 50% of our students is Dutch, with some kind of international background.

What you will learn
You learn how to strategically plan and implement communication and how to produce different means of communication. You posses a large variety of communication skills that can be used effectively within different cultural contexts. International Communication graduates know how to research and analyze issues crucial to communication and they are able to articulate their own view on the international communication profession. Graduates of this four-year Bachelor's Programme are awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Communication (International Communication).

Professional perspectiveAfter graduating, you will have a broad understanding of international communication and the basic skills needed for a starting position in a wide
range of international careers in public relations, corporate communication or public affairs in both profit and non-profit organizations in the public and private sector. Graduates fulfil positions as international communication manager, event manager, business communication advisor, intercultural consultant, facilitator and spokesperson.
