Participant Profile

Typically (young) professionals active in the insurance industry, pensions industry and consultancy. Academic backgrounds are a bachelor or masters degree in actuarial science or in econometrics or (applied) mathematics.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mathematical analysis, linear algebra, probability theory and statistics.
• Knowledge of financial economics, macroeconomics and microeconomics.
• Knowledge of actuarial science at the level of introductory courses on risk theory, life insurance and asset/liability management.
• Knowledge of the legal and institutional structures that apply to the insurance and pension industries.

Programme price

The Executive Master of Actuarial Science costs € 24.000,-. This price includes all necessary literature and materials and lunch, tea and coffee during your study days. It does not, however, include dinners or accommodation during the Friday/Saturday blocks. The EMAS programme is BTW- exempt.
