After the Introduction Week at the end of January you will have class once a month on a long weekend (Fridays and Saturdays from 9.30 to 21.30 and Sundays from 9.30 to 16.30). This format is ideal for you and your employer as you will only need to miss one day of work per month.

Participant Profile

The part-time MSc in Financial Management attracts individuals from a broad range of educational, professional and cultural backgrounds, with an average age of 27. Although experience is not required, participants generally have some experience.

One could expect the part-time master programmes to be mainly Dutch, yet the part-time masters student body at TiasNimbas Utrecht Campus is quite international. As the masters are taught in the English language, they attract an international group of people each year including expats from countries like France, Brazil, Libia, Tanzania, China and the Phllippines as well as foreigners traveling from other European countries, such as Germany and Italy.

Requirements

• A bachelor degree in any subject with a minimum grade average (GPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0, or 7 out of 10, or overall average of 80 from 100% (B on a scale of A to F).
• A TiasNimbas Capacity Test or a GMAT (minimum score of 550).
• Proficiency in English. Non-native English speakers require either a bachelors degree in English, or minimum pass scores in either the IELTS (6.5 General Band) or TOEFL (90 points internet-based).
• Depending on your bachelor background and test results, you may be required to attend all or one of the preparatory courses.

Applications can only be considered upon receipt of a non-refundable application fee (see above), which can be paid in cash or by bank transfer to a TiasNimbas Business School bank account. Candidates accepted to a programme need to pay an enrolment fee (see above) in order to secure their place at TiasNimbas Business School. This fee covers registration and related administration costs, and is non-refundable. The tuition fee (see above) covers lectures, tutorials and examination fees and must be paid no later than two months prior to commencement of the programme.
