Please have in mind that the PMP exam is changing on 26 March 2018. If you schedule your exam on 26 March or later, you will receive an updated version of the exam that references the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition. Anyone taking the exam prior to 26 March 2018 will receive the current version of the exam that references the PMBOK® Guide – Fifth Edition.

Overview

About the Instructor

Kostadin Kupenov holds MSc in Computer Science and has 15+ years of professional experience in Project Management, Software development, People Management, Business and System Analysis.

Kostadin is certified as PMP since 2009 and started delivering instructor-led training in 2012. Since then he has delivered the PMP Training Course over 25 times to hundreds of SMB and corporate customers from a wide variety of industries. He has delivered tens of courses in Project Management and Business Analysis and constantly scores top results in student evaluation feedback forms.

Kostadin Kupenov has proficient technical skills including Programming Languages and technologies: Java (core, servlet, EJB, JSP, AWT, Swing); RMI; HTML/DHTML; JavaScript; XML; XSLT; XSP; Pascal; Lisp; Scheme; Prolog Database Systems: SQL; PL/SQL; ODBC; JDBC; Oracle; MS Access Version Control: CVS Web-Management: Apache Web Server; Apache Tomcat; WebSphere; JBoss Project management tools: Microsoft Project Development tools: Kawa; JBuilder, etc. He has expertise in all phases of the Solution Development Life Cycle, deep knowledge in Analysis and Design using UML and hands-on experience in ITIL, Business Process Modeling with BPMN, Logical Data Modeling, ISO 9001:2000.

Currently Kostadin is Co-Founder and Principal Consultant for Dot Net Bulgaria and serves as Independent Expert to the European Commission. In the past he has been appointed as Head of Business Analysis for Mobiltel (part of Telekom Austria Group) and has served as President of the Bulgarian branch of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Kostadin speaks fluent English.

Target Student

This course is designed for individuals who have on-the-job project management experience (regardless of whether their formal job role is project manager), who are not certified project management professionals, and who might or might not have received formal project management training. The course is appropriate for these persons if they wish to develop professionally, increase their project management skills, apply a formalized and standards-based approach to project management, and seek career advancement by moving into a formal project manager job role, as well as to apply for Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Prerequisites

To ensure your success in this course, you should be familiar with basic project management concepts and have some working experience with project management. Experience with a specific project management software tool is not required. Basic computing skills and some experience using Microsoft® Office is desirable but not required.

Alternatively, you can obtain this level of skills and knowledge by taking the following Logical Operations courses:
