ITIL 4 Foundation English Course

Learn everything about ITIL 4 in two days at one of the best training providers in the Netherlands! ITIL 4:

ITIL was due for replacement. The latest version was introduced twelve years ago (2007) and in the meantime a lot has changed in the IT industry. We started working at Agile, offering of Cloud services is paramount and system administrators have been given a completely different role. Data is the new gold, has received a prominent place and requires a lot of attention. Sales and marketing have become an important part of IT, and developers pay full attention to this. AI (Artificial Intelligence) and machine learning are becoming increasingly dominant and services need to be better aligned.

ITIL 4 meets these needs. It is a completely new model and the makers have opted for a rigorous change. The V3 model with its life cycle has been abandoned. Instead, a modern pipeline has been developed for the development of services. There is room for alignment with other methods in this pipeline, such as Agile-Scrum software development and Continuous Delivery with DevOps. ITIL 4 Foundation focuses primarily on services and the essence of Service management. However, there is also room for traditional processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management and Configuration Management. These processes have been given a refresher and are adapted to the requirements of our time.

There is no bridge as with previous versions of ITIL.

The course:

ITIL 4 will be launched on 28 February 2019 and starting from March we will provide the first English training. Prior to that, we have practiced extensively with a pilot training in which industry experts have participated. That makes this training valuable from the first moment onward!

The training is divided over two weekends (Saturdays). The exam is scheduled at the end of the second Saturday. After passing the exam, you are entitled to the official ITIL 4 Foundation certificate (issued by Axelos). We start by charting your personal learning objectives. What would you like to learn and what experiences do you have, how do you want to apply what you are about to learn in your job? Then we proceed to the program. This covers, among other things, the core of Service Management, The Service Value System, with all additional aspects, the four dimensions of Service Management and the pipeline (the "Service Value Chain"). We give tips and practical examples for each subject. Furthermore, we point to questions that you can expect at the exam.

The exam:

The exam is part of the course and is included in the price. At the end of the day we do a test exam and we will discuss the next course day. This gives you a clear insight of the questions you can expect during the exam. The course, as well as thee exam will be in English. Our trainers are all experienced abroad and are fluent English speakers.
