Planning in Transportation Management – Processes and Customizing

Goals

• This course will enable participants to grasp in detail the transportation network configuration, the ECC integration for both master and transactional data as well as the configuration of different planning scenarios. They will build a transportation network using integration to ECC; Setup integration between ECC and TM to support both inbound and outbound transportation requirements; Setup and execute several different planning scenarios related to road and ocean transportation processes using manual and automated planning capabilities.

Audience

• This course is aimed at project team members, consultants, key users, and Business Analysts responsible for implementing and supporting Transportation Management activities related to transportation planning. This will cover both inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments with SAP TM based on the component SAP tm 9.0 and ECC 6.06. The Majority of this content is relevant for earlier releases.

Prerequisites

• TM100 - Processes in Transportation Management

• Some familiarity with core SAP ERP processing
• Knowledge of transportation business processes
• Good knowledge and skills in SCM Core Interface APO – SCM210 or SC210r
• SCM600 – Processes in Sales and Distribution
