Your performance is generally satisfactory, but in certain situations your actions and communication towards others do not have the effect you had intended. Sometimes others do not understand you and react in a different way than you had expected. You want to learn how to influence communicative situations effectively, dealing with different cultural expectations on the way. You want to preserve a good working relationship with the other part.

Course description

This training has a strong focus on practical experience. Following various brief theoretical presentations, you will extensively practice your skills, departing from your own professional experience. You will be working on verbal and non-verbal communication, dealing with difficult others, providing and receiving feedback and dealing with unproductive emotions. The training will be given in English.

The course covers the following subjects:

  • Dealing with difficult partners
  • Interaction and interaction styles
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Establishing personal boundaries
  • Dealing with unproductive emotions
