It is necessary that the implementation of the changes to the code in the version control system can be done quickly and reliably. Although Git was initially developed for software version control, it can be used for all text-oriented documents. It is therefore also fine to use for system and application administrators who, for example, want to put configuration files under version control. Course delegates will be shown in this 2-day course, the advantages of using Git as a version control tool and taught how to make the most of the features Git has to offer by following good working practices. Real world examples and the completion of tailored, practical exercises help to en grain this knowledge and build confidence in Git as an engineering & development tool.
