In the hospitality and service industry there is an increasing

challenges of a rapidly changing business environment. Our MIHSM
programme meets this demand by delivering graduates who possess the
experience and knowledge of the industry.
The master programmes at NHL Stenden are accredited and validated
by the University of Derby, UK and by the Dutch Flemish
Accreditation Organisation (NVAO). You can choose for a single
Master of degree (MA) or gain a dual award consisting of a Dutch MA
degree and a British Master of Science degree. Our partner
university in the UK, the University of Derby, is ranked nr. 1 in
the Guardian University League 2015 in Hospitality, Tourism and
Events education.
The master programmes also have been accredited as first in The
Netherlands by the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism
& Hospitality Education (THE-ICE). Furthermore, the NHL Stenden
master programmes benefit from the official participation in the
Centre of Expertise in Tourism, Hospitality & Leisure (CELTH),
which is supported by the Dutch government.
