My name is Timothy Ellyson and I love teaching the PMP.

Live training is the best training

This is a five-day intensive course. Beware of 4-day courses, you can cover the material as well and they don't fulfill the 35-hour training requirement for the PMP exam.

The Prerequisites for the PMP exam

• Four-year degree
• 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
• 35 hours of project management education

or

• A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate's degree or the global equivalent)
• 7,500 hours leading and directing projects
• 35 hours of project management education

For those students without the necessary background, PMI also offers the CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification.

The Prerequisites for the CAPM exam

• 23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam
