European Lean Six Sigma certification

The LSSA is classified in the ECQA – ‘European Certification and Qualification Association’. The ECQA provides a world-wide unified certification schema for numerous professions and acts independently of training agencies. The same exam pool, exam rules and the same electronic exam system are used for certification exams in any participating country.

The ECQA founded in 2002, is a non-for-profit association, joining institutions and several thousands of professionals from all over Europe and abroad. It defines and verifies quality criteria for Training organizations (ATO’s ) and Trainers to assure the same level of trainings all over the world.

In several countries certification bodies have been designated where examinations are conducted. Because the certificate is issued in cooperation with universities the certificate entitles the right at 5EC (5 European Credits).

The practical projects will be reviewed by Master Black Belt appointed by the LSSA. These MBB’s are employed by various companies and institutions and have years of experience in coaching Lean Six Sigma projects, but are not directly involved as coach in the assessed projects.

In several European countries certification bodies have been contracted to host the LSSA exams. In the Netherlands the University of Twente acts as certification body. You can apply for certification through your training institute or at our website.
