Prerequisites
Essential- Essential • Good understanding of processes & configuration in SAP ERP Fin.Acc. Recommended • Familiarity with the new general ledger, e.g. attendance of AC210 • Basic knowledge in local and international accounting principles
Course based on software release
- • SAP ERP 6.0 with Enhancement Package 6
Content
- • Understand the basics regarding the mapping of parallel valuation/accounting in a SAP ERP system. • Describe, configure and operate the accounts solution on the basis of some typical showcases. • Understand, configure and operate the ledger solution (within new G/L) on the basis of some typical (=> the same as above) showcases. • Configure the system to fulfill typical reporting requirements for international valuation standards. • Get a short overview of (additional) topics/processes which can be affected due to parallel valuation. • Outline the steps needed to be done to get a SAP system with release ECC 6.0 (with Enhancement Packages) and activated new G/L.
Notes
- • The course AC207 (=> figures, demos, documentations, exercises) is based on a SAP system with activated new G/L. But all information regarding the accounts solution can be inherited also from SAP customers with classic G/L.
