- Introduction to the legal background of the functions in SAP Global Trade Services
- Overview of technical basics
- Structural basics (organizational units, master data)
- Classification (nomenclature of goods, tariffs)
- Import processes (import control, customs procedures, customs value calculation, communication with authorities)
- Export processes (export control, customs procedures, communication with authorities)
- Transit procedure for imports and exports (including communication with authorities, particularly participation in NCTS)
- Preference determination and managing vendor declarations
- Sanctioned Party List screening
- Intrastat reporting

- This course is aimed at participants with no previous knowledge who are interested in gaining an overview of SAP Global Trade Services. SAP Global Trade Services is not part of SAP ERP. However, SAP ERP and SAP Global Trade Services are closely linked in terms of content.
- This training is for Innovations 2010 which includes ERP 6.0 EhP5, CRM 7.0 EhP1, SRM 7.0 EhP1, SCM 7.0 EhP1, and NetWeaver 7.02. This software is not yet in unrestricted shipment. The software is still in the SAP Ramp-Up phase, and your company must be nominated as an official SAP Ramp-Up customer according to the applicable processes prior to getting access to this particular software version.
