MaastrichtMBA - Executive On-Campus

MaastrichtMBA is an international, state-of-the-art, two-year part-time master programme targeted at professionals worldwide who would like to advance their management and leadership skills to boost their career and broaden their knowledge of business administration. We offer you two flavours of our MaastrichtMBA: Executive MBA and EuroMBA Online. The total study load of the programme is 1900 hours; approximately 15-20 hours per week.

The executive track of the MaastrichtMBA programme offers you a unique journey during which you will enhance your knowledge and enrich your capabilities through action-oriented learning that encompasses business practice and interactive co-creation with professors and fellow students. At the end of this journey, you will not just be better equipped but also better connected to meet organisational and societal challenges and turn them into opportunities for a better world.

This track is an executive MBA that consists out of eight modules of which five are obligatory and the core of the programme. The three remaining modules can be elected either with a focus on Responsible Leadership and Sustainability or Digital Business.

MaastrichtMBA is all about developing talent together: working in small groups with fellow students and teaching faculty brings you the most valuable learning experience of all.

• Compressed in a flexible, modular programme format of four educational weeks per year, the MaastrichtMBA is practically available for every working professional worldwide.
• In MaastrichtMBA the focus is on responsible leadership and in this context we stimulate our participants to develop skills to lead themselves, their teams and their organisations.
• We take a highly personal approach to learning with Maastricht University’s renowned “Problem Based Learning” (PBL) as our central leading pedagogy.
• In the MaastrichtMBA we stimulate participants to go the extra mile. We combine PBL with action and experiential learning, hence theory is tightly connected to professional practice.

In MaastrichtMBA we strongly believe that for learning to take place, we need to create a setting in which participants can develop the ability to reflect on their (work) experience and the ability to translate their reflections into action. That is why our programme takes place in small group settings. That is why we devote a lot of time to personal development. And that is why we integrate action learning projects in all components of our curriculum.
