MSP® Foundation & Practitioner

Strategic change is often organized through a programme of linked projects. Managing such a programme requires the skill sets of a project manager as well as that of a general manager.

“Managing Successful Programmes” is best practice guidance which provides a programme manager a foundation for skills such as vision, leadership, stakeholder engagement and for ensuring the programme is fully consistent with the day to day requirements of the business.

A Five-Day Boot Camp

This course lays a firm basis for the delegate to apply the MSP® method to programmes. It focuses on the effective use of MSP® within programmes, as well as giving an excellent success rate in the Foundation and Practitioner examinations.

The course provides time for exercises, examination practice, discussion, questions et cetera. The successful candidate will achieve the industry-recognised MSP® Foundation and Practitioner qualifications.

Who Should Attend
Programme Managers who need to validate their experience and differentiate themselves by gaining an industry-recognised programme management qualification.

Course Objectives
This course will enable delegates to: understand the themes and programme lifecycle of MSP® in depth understand how to use MSP® and prepare for the Foundation and Practitioner examinations.

Prerequisites & Study
Delegates should have experience of projects and programmes. The official MSP® manual with study directions are issued before the course and require prior to the course around twenty hours of self-study. Evening work around 2-3 hours is required during the course. Please note that this is an intensive challenging course.

Examinations
The delegate takes a 45 minute multiple choice Foundation Examination and on passing this the delegate is eligible to sit the two and a half hour Practitioner examination on the last day.
