What does this training entail?
The Scrum Master is an essential role in any project. This person guides the team and leads daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, upcoming activities within your project or issues to ensure everything runs smoothly
The title of 'Scrum Master' may sound intimidating, but fear not - you'll learn how it all works during this two-day course focused on learning:
- How to Work as an Effective Scrum Master
- How to deal with challenges
- How to properly support the Scrum Product Owner (for example with backlog management)
- How to engage teams in the Scrum framework and make them more independent
Scrum is a process for managing the work of projects. We help you understand how it works and then prepare you so that your team can benefit from it too! During the training, we discuss common practical situations when you start working as an agile Scrum Master. There is also plenty of opportunity during these sessions to look at the practice and see what possible solutions could be to make Scrum work well.
Optionally, you can take the Scrum Master exam (PSM I) via Scrum.org. If you pass the exam, you will receive an officially recognized certificate.
- After the training you will receive a code by email with which you can take the exam online once. You can take this exam according to your own schedule.
- The exam is in English.
- If you do not pass, you can retake the exam on your own initiative via Scrum.org
Level : although everyone can participate in this training, we do recommend a higher professional education working and thinking level.
NB: no prior knowledge is required for this training. Did you follow our Scrum Fundamental? Then there is a lot of repetition in this training.
