What is DISC?
Knowing your own DISC profile and that of your colleagues will help you to understand why you communicate and behave the way you do, and what happens to your way of communication and behaviour on a good day (when you are relaxed) or on a bad day (when you feel tired or stressed).
The DISC-model consists of 4 different styles (D, I, S, C) and is powerful because of its simplicity:
- Dominant: extrovert and controlling, direct, driven, performance orientated, high-tempo and takes charge.
- Interactive: extrovert and theoretical, cordial, enthusiastic, talkative, impulsive en verbally strong.
- Steady: introvert and theoretical, involved, friendly, attentive, team player, focussed on harmony and trusted.
- Conscientious: introvert and controlling, thinker, observer, watchful, precise, trusted and set on privacy.
Including Q4 Personal Style (DISC) Profile
In the Q4 Personal Style (DISC) Profile you will find an extensive description of your strengths, pitfalls and growth possibilities, how you deal with situations when under pressure, what your style of communication is, what the unconscious drives are and what kinds of things do and do not ‘work’ for you in the work environment. It therefore, provides tools to make work more enjoyable, to live and interact with others. The Q4 Personal Styles (DISC) profile further provides insight into your natural way of doing things and tools in order to make work, life and interaction with others more enjoyable!
