Emergency Response Officer with e-learning

Target audience The Emergency response officer (ERO) training is intended for persons who will become part of an emergency response team (ERT). Participants must complete the theoretical training via e-learning prior to the practical training. Content The ERO training is provided in accordance with the guidelines and objectives of the NIBHV (Netherlands Institute for Emergency Services) and consists of the following four modules:
-    Non-emergency first aid;
-    Emergency first aid;
-    Firefighting;
-    Evacuation. Learning material Approximately three weeks prior to training, participants receive login details for the ERO e-learning platform via e-mail.
Attention! E-learning replaces one lesson day of the regular two-day ERO training.
We advise you to begin the online training in a timely manner as it takes several hours to complete. Failure to complete the e-learning on time will result in the exclusion of the practical lesson day without a refund of the course fee. If you want to receive the e-learning earlier please let us know. Exams The ERO exam consists of practical components and a theoretical exam.
The practical skills are tested by the instructor during the training day. The theoretical exam is included in the e-learning and must be successfully completed before the training day. Certification When both the practical components and the theoretical exam are passed, the participant receives the ERO certificate from Preventief BV. Lesson day We expect you to arrive at the location provided at least 15 minutes before the start of training.
The participant must be able to identify himself / herself during the entire course. Clothing advice Comfortable clothing and closed shoes for practical assignments are advised.
If it is necessary to wear safety shoes in the workplace, this is also mandatory for in-company training. Lunch and refreshments Lunch and refreshments are included in the course price if the training takes place at the Preventief BV ERO Training Centre. When the training takes place in-company, this depends on the agreements within your organization.   Change / cancellation In case of changes or cancellations regardless of the reason, the following costs will be charged; Condition Payment Due Cancel open registration > 14 days* 0% Cancel open registration 8-14 days* 25% Cancel open registration 1-7 days* 50% Absent without cancellation or on the day of lesson 100% * If paid, the costs for the textbook or e-learning will be charged. For in-company training other cancellation conditions may apply, such as a minimum number of participants or group price. It is always possible to send a colleague in your place. In this case, no costs will be charged. Always discuss a change or cancellation with the contact person / manager of your organization and follow the company-specific agreements.
