During the training you will learn about the theory and principles of Scrum, the Agile mindset, what empirical process control is and how the role of the Scrum Master can be fulfilled. You will get concrete tools to deploy Scrum in your organization when it is not yet being used. By following a virtual training, you immediately experience all the facilitation techniques and tools that our trainers use. This provides extra value compared to a physical training.

Objectives

After attending the virtual Professional Scrum Master training you will have:  A clear understanding of when and why Agile and Scrum work;  Gained knowledge to understand the responsibilities within Scrum and transfer them to your Scrum Team and organization; Gained tools to facilitate and set up Scrum Events in the right way;  Gained the knowledge to start using Scrum in your team, or to increase the effectiveness of working with Scrum;  Understanding of servant leadership, allowing you to act as Scrum Master for your teams, Product Owner and organization. 

Student profile

The Professional Scrum Master I training is suitable for you if you: Interested in starting or continuing your career as a Scrum Master; Already a Scrum Master, Agile/Scrum Coach or consultant, looking for answers on what Professional Scrum can look like and how to improve its application in your team; Want to take the PSM I exam and be well prepared. You do not need to have attended any entry level training to successfully participate in this course. If you are a team member in a Scrum Team then the Applying Professional Scrum training might be of interest to you.
