VMware vSphere 7 Fasttrack

De training VMware vSphere 7 Fasttrack (VM-VVFT7) is een intensieve, praktijkgerichte cursus waarin je alle essentiële vaardigheden opdoet om een robuuste, schaalbare en veilige vSphere 7-infrastructuur te beheren. Je leert ESXi-hosts installeren, vCenter Server inrichten, netwerken en opslag configureren, en werken met templates, snapshots en migraties.

Daarnaast verdiep je je in resourcebeheer, vSphere HA en DRS clusters, vSphere Lifecycle Manager, host profiles en geavanceerde storageopties zoals vSAN en Storage DRS. Ook komt vSphere met Kubernetes aan bod, zodat je voorbereid bent op moderne container-omgevingen binnen VMware.

De training is ideaal voor systeembeheerders en engineers die vSphere-omgevingen beheren en toekomstbestendig willen inrichten. Je werkt met een mix van theorie en hands-on labs, onder begeleiding van een ervaren trainer. De leerstof is in het Engels, maar de training wordt gegeven door een Nederlandstalige docent.

Na het volgen van de training, leg je het Foundation-examen (examencode 2V0-620) af. Dit is een online examen dat je thuis of op kantoor kunt afleggen. Je mag je boek en Google er dus bijhouden, als je de vragen maar binnen de gestelde tijd beantwoordt. Met het behalen van het Foundation-examen toon je aan dat je basiskennis van VMware vSphere beheerst, de fundering van alle andere VMware-producten.

Na het behalen van het Foundation-examen, leg je het examen VCP7-DCV (examencode: 2V0-621) af op een Pearson VUE-examenlocatie. Wanneer je deze examens behaald hebt, ben je gecertificeerd voor VCP7-DCV.
