Many organisations adopt the Obeya method to connect strategy and execution — but without effective facilitation, sessions often fall flat. Discussions drift, a few voices dominate, and teams lose energy instead of gaining alignment. Great facilitation is what turns an Obeya from a visual dashboard into a true collaboration space.

This training gives you the mindset, structure, and tools to make that happen. You’ll explore facilitation techniques that encourage participation and help teams focus on outcomes. You’ll learn how to create psychological safety, guide performance dialogues, and navigate conflicts constructively. Through practical exercises and real-life simulations, you’ll experience what it takes to host sessions that drive engagement, decisions, and continuous improvement.

By the end of this training, you’ll know how to lead Obeya meetings that people actually look forward to — because they work.

This training is for

You recognise yourself in one or more of the following situations:

• You facilitate Obeya sessions but struggle to keep them focused and productive
• You want to strengthen collaboration and engagement across teams or leadership levels
• You notice that only a few voices dominate discussions
• You want to help your organisation improve decision-making and follow-through
• You’re looking to build facilitation skills rooted in safety, structure, and shared ownership

This training is ideal for Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Change Agents, Transformation Leads, and anyone facilitating Obeya or other collaboration sessions.

• You’ll learn how to design and lead effective Obeya sessions
• You’ll practise facilitation techniques that foster participation and engagement
• You’ll develop the ability to create psychological safety and manage group dynamics
• You’ll learn to guide performance dialogues and handle difficult conversations
• You’ll build your own facilitation toolkit for different Obeya formats
• Note: course material and exam are in English. The training is delivered in English (can be provided in Dutch if all participants agree).
