CIPP/E Privacy Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe

CIPP/E is een titel van de IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) en wordt gezien als dé Europese standaard op het gebied van privacy certificering. Met een CIPP certificering toont u aan kennis te hebben van zowel globale- als specifieke regionale wet- en regelgeving in privacy en dataprotectie. Hiermee onderscheidt u zich niet alleen van andere professionals maar toont uw organisatie tevens zijn betrokkenheid aan bij deze voor klanten belangrijke thema’s.

Vanaf september 2016 is de CIPP/E training geupdate zodat deze volledig aansluit op de nieuwe Europese Privacy Verordening GDPR / AVG. Daarnaast nemen we de ongeldig verklaring van Safe Harbor, de inhoud van het daaropvolgende Privacy Shield en de Nederlandse situatie (Wbp, Meldplicht Datalekken) in de cursus mee.

De CIPP/E training gaat in op globale privacy en dataprotectie principes en -benaderingen plus thema’s als online privacy, soorten data en jurisdictie maar de nadruk ligt op de Europese context en lokale wet- en regelgeving. Ook actuele onderwerpen als het verantwoordelijk omgaan met het verstrekken van gevoelige persoonlijke data aan bijvoorbeeld de Verenigde Staten, Cloud Computing en sociale netwerken komen aan bod. 

Eerder was het slechts mogelijk een CIPP/E training te volgen op jaarlijkse IAPP congressen, TSTC verzorgt deze training sinds 2014 als eerste opleider volgens een open-rooster.
Naast meer flexibiliteit zijn uw belangrijkste voordelen een kleinere groepsgrootte met meer ruimte voor interactie en de garantie op een Nederlandstalige zeer ervaren trainer die kennis heeft van de lokale Nederlandse privacy situatie.

Na de training kunt u met behulp van een bijgeleverd voucher examen doen om de internationaal erkende CIPP/E titel te behalen. Examens kunnen op een tijdstip naar wens op diverse Nederlandse locaties worden afgenomen.

Als mogelijk vervolg wordt in de CIPM en CIPT trainingen verder ingegaan op het operationeel maken van het juridisch kader op privacy management en technisch gebied.

• Module 1: Data Protection Laws - Introduces key European data protection laws and regulatory bodies, describing the evolution toward a harmonised legislative framework.
• Module 2: Personal Data - Defines and differentiates between types of data, including personal, anonymous, pseudo-anonymous and special categories.
• Module 3: Controllers and Processors - Describes the roles and relationships of controllers and processors.
• Module 4: Processing Personal Data - Defines data processing and GDPR processing principles, explains the application of the GDPR and outlines the legitimate bases for processing personal data.
• Module 5: Information Provision - Explains controller obligations for providing information about data processing activities to data subjects and supervisory authorities.
• Module 6: Data Subjects’ Rights - Describes data subjects’ rights, applications of rights and controller and processor obligations.
• Module 7: Security of Processing - Discusses considerations and duties of controllers and processors for ensuring security of personal data and providing notification of data breaches.
• Module 8: Accountability - Investigates accountability requirements, including data protection management systems, data protection impact assessments, privacy policies and the role of the data protection officer.
• Module 9: International Data Transfers - Outlines options and obligations for transferring data outside the European Economic Area, including adequacy decisions and appropriate safeguards and derogations.
• Module 10: Supervisions and Enforcement - Describes the role, powers and procedures of supervisory authorities; the composition and tasks of the European DataProtection Board; the role of the European Data Protection Supervisor; and remedies, liabilities and penalties for non-compliance.
• Module 11: Compliance - Discusses the applications of European data protection law, legal bases and compliance requirements for processing personal data in practice, including employers processing employee data, surveillance, direct marketing, Internet technology and communications and outsourcing.
